The Financial Wizard and GS Amortization Pro

During Middle School my father purchased a Franklin Ace computer (Apple II compatible.) After creating several games, I set out to design a financial package for my father. Over about three years of working on this off-and-on, I had designed and coded a complete financial calculations program, The Financial Wizard, which I sold to customers through the shareware market. As a high school student, this gave me experience in the many facets involved with running a small company, which helped in later entrepreneurial efforts.

I eventually updated the financial program and ported it to the Apple IIgs. I sold the rights of Financial Wizard G-S to a software publishing firm, SoftDisk Publishing. I later created an amortization only program for the Apple IIgs, called GS Amortization Pro, which I sold through the shareware market.
